The Scientific-research part performs:

Priority directions of the organization scientific activity:

  • Preparation of scientific and pedagogical staff of the highest category (doctors and candidates of science), in order to ensure the quality of the student learning process and the ability of the university to make a significant contribution to solving problems in the priority scientific areas of Ukraine.
  • Distribution of the active presence of the university in the international scientific environment.
  • Expansion of the university’s participation in research and development for the military sector of the economy of Ukraine (laser and optoelectronic equipment, radio-electronic systems, telecommunications and communications).
  • Improving conditions for ensuring the quality of research and development for the military sector of the economy of Ukraine, and for solving modern scientific problems (creating a laboratory of defense technologies, creating a research center for sharing, restoring infrastructure and reprofiling the Multi-Purpose Geophysical Complex)
  • Formation of innovative projects and scientific and technical development of market demand based on the results of the implementation of state budgetary research.

Activity of a methodical department is directed on the organization and improvement of educational-methodical work at university, on coordination of work of the methodical commissions of faculties and departments on educational- methodical questions of their activity.

The postgraduate and doctoral studies department trains applicants for higher education at the third (educational-scientific) and scientific levels of higher education in order to obtain the degree of higher education of Ph.D and doctor of sciences respectively. Training is conducted at 26 departments, in 14 scientific specialties.


Annually more than 250 post-graduate students of Ukraine, 20-30 graduate students from distant foreign countries study at the University’s postgraduate program, about 15 doctoral students.

The post-graduate students are trained by 73 Doctors of Sciences, professors; 20 Ph.D, professors; 57 candidates of science, associate professors.


At the moment 7 specialized scientific councils for the protection of dissertations work at the university, 6 of them are doctoral, and 1 is Ph.D.

Annually aspirants and employees of the University defend from 30 to 50 dissertations for a Ph.D. degree and 10 doctoral dissertations. More than 50% of graduates of the graduate school annually join the ranks of scientific and scientific and pedagogical staff of the university.


Recently, the University annually sends to the internship our best graduate students and young scientists in universities in Germany, France, Finland, Australia, England, China and other countries.


Postgraduate education according to the current legislation in Ukraine for obtaining a Ph.D. degree (PhD) – up to 4 years, for obtaining a doctorate degree – up to 2 years.

Service Point for Accessible Learning “º£½ÇÉçÇø No Limits” of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics was created according to the order ofÌý º£½ÇÉçÇø dated 07.03.2024 No. 78 with the aim of improving the system of educational services and management processes on the basis of a special educational and rehabilitation department for supporting students with special educational needs, which was functioning in º£½ÇÉçÇø since 2009 in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 587 dated 27.06.2008.
The Service Point for Accessible Learning is designed to provide real and comfortable access to learning opportunities for students with special educational needs, to provide methodological support to teachers and students, to apply advanced technologies of integration, inclusion and health care to promote the independence of each person and their success.
The mission of the Service Point for Accessible Learning is to ensure: real access to study opportunities at the University based on the recognition of the inherent value and dignity of every person in society, regardless of their characteristics; observance of the rights of a person with disabilities and/or chronic diseases, his equal access to higher education opportunities; application of advanced technologies of integration, inclusion and health care, in the promotion of maximum functional independence of each person and his success in life.


The main tasks of the Service Point for Accessible Learning Accessibility Service are:

1. Creation of a comfortable inclusive educational environment of the University by providing the opportunity to exercise educational, social and civil rights to every subject of the educational process, including Students with special needs;
2. Promoting the development of tolerance among the university community, respect for people with disabilities, recognition of the value of each subject of the educational process, creation and implementation of effective measures to increase the level of inclusive culture at the University;
3. Provision of universal design and intelligent adaptation of the educational environment;
4. Evaluation and improvement of material and technical resources of the University for adaptation of educational programs for applicants with special educational needs;
5. Organization of a program of support for applicants with special educational needs, including improving the qualifications of scientific and pedagogical workers for work in the conditions of inclusive education.
6. Monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of implemented measures to implement the accessibility of the educational environment. Development of relevant strategic proposals and regulatory and methodological documentation.
7. Study, generalization and implementation of best practices of professional practical activity in the field of inclusion and inclusive education.
8. Promotion of the University’s activities in the field of inclusion at the local, regional, national and international levels.

  • people with disabilities (people with hearing, vision, musculoskeletal disorders, people with somatic and chronic diseases);

  • ensuring the organization of acceptance of works and registration of acts of their readiness, accounting of work performance by departments, as well as by individual tasks;
  • ensuring the organization of internal university competitions of scientific works funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
  • processing, analysis and systematization of the main indicators of research activity of faculties, departments, research units and research teams;
  • preparation of materials and processing of information on the results of º£½ÇÉçÇø research activity for submission to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and other state bodies;
  • ensuring control over the expenditure of the wage fund, compliance with the correctness of the use of forms and systems of remuneration, tariff rates, salaries of employees of the research staff in accordance with the current legislation;
  • preparation of consolidated staffing lists and changes to it in accordance with the estimates approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
