As part of the 20th conference , senior lecturer of the Department of PEEA �������� Galkin Pavlo took part in the General Meeting of the EduNet World Association educational network.

The meeting was held in a mixed mode. EduNet World Association is engaged in the promotion of global engineering and “Professional Education 4.0” in electrical engineering, automation technology and information technology. It also aims to support international cooperation between educational institutions and industrial companies. The organization of educational-practical and educational-practical educational projects is one of the organization’s priorities.

During the period of February 02 to February 19, 2023, Irina Svyd, the head of the department of MTS, participated in an intensive training for trainers program on the “Google Digital Tools for Education” program.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, with the support of Google Ukraine, organized free training within the “Google Digital Tools for Education” program in order to expand the possibilities of using digital tools for organizing distance learning and increasing the effectiveness of the educational process, which is being carried out during the 2022/2023 academic year.

On February 28, 2023, the decision of the Scientific Council of �������� approved the proposed key performance indicators (KPI) for calculating the amount of additional funding of departments for 2023.

The allocation of funds according to the KPI system remains an effective innovative tool for encouraging and rewarding a specific result. This is a unique experience of �������� as a leading Ukrainian university to ensure sustainable development, achieve SDG 8 and promote the image of the university.

On February 23, 2023, the event “Involvement of youth in the decision-making process in conditions of war” was held, which was organized by IREX in partnership with the International Republican Institute within the framework of the USAID “Dream and Act” program. The lecturers of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of Kh�������� took part in it. Timothy Stautzenberger, director of the MRI program in Ukraine, and Yuliya Tkachuk, deputy director of the IREX program, made a welcome speech.

Within the framework of the event, a panel discussion was held with representatives of youth organizations (PLAST, UAS, Mariupol Youth Council, Building Ukraine Together, SpivDiya) on the involvement of youth in decision-making during the war. The discussion was moderated by Maryna Popatenko, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. A manual on civic education was also presented, which contains both practical cases and theoretical material on the implementation of civic education at various levels.

As part of InnoBioDiv, an innovative study of the interaction between plants and the environment in a changing climate that combines biology and modern Internet of Things technologies, our students Kateryna Stetsenko (ACTAKIT-20-3 group) and Daryna Nenova (ACTAKIT-21-1 group) visited the University of Köln, where they conducted research together with students of this university!

The main goal of the joint research project InnoBioDiv of the University of Cologne (UzK) and TH Köln (THK) is to create an innovation platform that will allow to test the impact of climatic parameters on plant growth performance and soil biodiversity using the results of the research of the Cluster of Excellence in Plant Science (CEPLAS). The innovation platform serves, on the one hand, to make the ecological interconnections in the root zone tangible, and on the other hand, as a communication platform for collecting concepts and exchanging ideas.
