Leading scientists in the field of biomedical engineering and artificial intelligence from various universities (Stanford University, Western University, Harvard University, University of California, ETH Zurich) gathered to discuss the use of intelligent robotics for rehabilitation.
About 15% of the world’s population, or approximately 1 billion people, live with a disability. Rehabilitation jobs help people recover from physical disabilities caused by injury or illness, helping them regain mobility and carry out daily activities more easily. These robotic devices use artificial intelligence to guide and monitor patient movements and make accurate diagnoses, helping to tailor treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs, resulting in improved health and faster recovery. Robots help people overcome mobility challenges by improving their strength, coordination and endurance for a healthier and more independent life.
