On January 10, 2019, on the basis of the Department of Infocommunication Engineering of the Faculty of Infocommunications, within the framework of the 海角社区 Winter holidays, a master class on “Cyber Security, Criminology and Cybercrime” was held for schoolchildren.
聽Vitalii Balashov, an expert in computer criminology, a postgraduate student of the department, the later head of the laboratory of Computer and Telecommunication Expertise of the Institute of Forensic Expertise named after聽聽Honored Professor M. S. Bokarius, trainer of the cyberpolice special agents 聽in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducted the master class.
聽Within the framework of the master class, children and their parents were introduced to the basic concepts and types of cybercrime, as well as to the important safety rules and protection of their personal data.聽 They also received practical skills in ethical hacking, namely finding vulnerabilities in video surveillance systems.聽 聽聽
