Education

1998 – Graduated from Kharkiv State Technical University of Radio Electronics, specializing in Radio Engineering, received a qualification as a radio engineer.

1999-2001 – Postgraduate studies in the Department of Biomedical Electronic Devices and Systems.

2001 – Defended PhD thesis on the subject «Justification of Navigational and Power Parameters of the Magnetic Stereotactic System» in the speciality 05.11.17 «Medical Devices and Systems». Supervisor – Semenets V.

2006 – Received the academic title of associate professor.

2013 – Defended doctoral thesis on the topic «Theoretical Foundations, Methods and Tools for Diagnostics and Computer Planning in Rhinology» on the speciality 05.11.17 «Medical Devices and Systems». Scientific consultant – Semenets V.

2014 – Professor of Biomedical Engineering Department.

2017 – Head of Biomedical Engineering Department.

Educational activities

Teaches courses:

• Automation of medical systems design;
• Electronics and microprocessor technology;
• Methods of biomedical information processing;
• Methods and tools for image analysis;
• Microcontrollers in biomedical equipment.

Research activities

Scientific work is related to the analysis of biomedical images, 3D modelling and visualization, medical training and E-learning systems, processing of microscopic images, the development of methods and tools for functional diagnosis of nasal breathing and computer planning for minimally invasive surgery.

Supervisor of scientific school medical instrumentation and medical microprocessor systems.

Supervisor of 9 candidate theses in the specialty 05.11.17. and 2 PhD theses in specialty 163.

Member of the Specialized Academic Councils  D64.050.17, speciality 05.11.17.

Scientific supervisor of research work on research of theoretical and technical principles of diagnostics, assessment and correction of medical and social human conditions.

Scientific leader Ukrainian-German research project M/108-2019 and M/91-2020, M/95-2021 “3D-Model – Implementation of rapid prototyping for modelling of the upper respiratory tract in normal and typical pathologies”.
