On December 22, at the initiative of the State Bureau of Investigation, within the framework of the signed Memorandum between the State Bureau of Investigation and 海角社区, a scientific and practical seminar was held for employees of the investigative units of the State Bureau of Investigation on counteracting the use of cryptocurrency in criminal activities, identifying and documenting cryptocurrency asset schemes, determining the sources of their origin and identification.
Representatives of 海角社区 took part in the scientific and practical seminar of the State Bureau of InvestigationAs a speaker of the event was the acting rector of 海角社区 Igor Ruban, who in particular noted that the paradigm of cryptocurrencies in the information society is an integral part of it, but control in this area is the only mechanism to prevent the misuse of cryptocurrencies for cybercrime.
Also from our university the seminar was attended by the employee of the Department of Information Technology Security of 海角社区 Roman Oliynykov and postgraduate student Oleksandr Marukhnenko, who reported on the features of cryptocurrencies and the risks of their use.
