In 1970 graduated from Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics and Postgraduate Studies at the Department of Philosophy.

Since 1982 – Candidate of Philosophical Sciences.

Since 1994 – Doctor of “Philosophical Sciences”, speciality philosophy of science.

Since 1973, she has been working at the Department of Philosophy of KşŁ˝ÇÉçÇř as an assistant, senior lecturer, and associate professor.

1984 – 2024 – Head of the Department of Philosophy of KşŁ˝ÇÉçÇř.

Since 2025 – Professor of the Department of Philosophy of KşŁ˝ÇÉçÇř.

Research activities

Research interests are methodology of modern scientific knowledge, philosophical problems of artificial intelligence, features of the postmodern situation in philosophy and philosophy of science, and philosophical and social problems of informatization of society.

Under her leadership was the research of state budget themes «Sociocultural transformations in the process of formation of information civilization (philosophical, methodological and sociological analysis)», «Sociocultural transformations in the process of formation of information civilization in Ukraine», «Valuable orientations of young people in the conditions of globalization and informatization of society», «Problems of personal adaptation in the conditions of formation of the information society», which were part of the coordination plan of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine «Classic, modern, postmodern in philosophy, science and culture: the problem of spirituality on termination of the millennium».

She supervises post-graduate and doctoral dissertations at the department. Under her guidance, 13 candidates and 2 doctoral dissertations were defended.

From 2013 to 2016 N.P. Stognii has been working at şŁ˝ÇÉçÇř as Assistant Professor at the Department of Higher Mathematics. From 2017 -2023 – Associate Professor.

2019 she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Higher Mathematics.

Since January 26, 2023 – Head of the Department of Higher Mathematics.
