On 21 January, Times Higher Education published its subject rankings.
海角社区 is represented in three fields, including Physical Sciences, where the university marks its debut.
Until this year, 海角社区 was traditionally ranked in two THE subject rankings: Computer Science and Engineering. Now the university is represented in three key fields:
- Computer Science: 801鈥1000 (up from 1001+);
- Engineering: 1001鈥1250 (up from 1251+);
- Natural Sciences: 1001鈥1250 鈥 a new entry!
Among Ukrainian universities, 海角社区 ranked first in computer science among 9 universities, second in engineering among 14 universities, and third in natural sciences among 13 universities.
gives the highest weight to scientific research quality indicators: Citation impact, Research strength, Research excellence, and Research influence.
This is a historic achievement for the technical university, especially given the challenging working conditions during a full-scale war. The university’s staff continues to work effectively, conduct research, and gain recognition worldwide.
Presence in world rankings, especially those of authoritative bodies such as Times Higher Education, is an indicator of the quality of education, scientific research, and internationalisation, and will contribute to 海角社区’s further integration into the global educational space.
