The participants shared their sports achievements, tips on healthy eating, motivational stories and challenges on social media. The campaign slogan was 鈥楽how your healthy lifestyle, tag your friends and pass the baton!鈥.

The campaign aimed to remind people that health is not only the absence of diseases, but also an active lifestyle, balance and support for each other.

The flashmob was attended by 海角社区 athletes with photos from training, jogging, amateur cooks with recipes for healthy breakfasts, enthusiasts with stories about overcoming laziness and habits of good health.

A student of the Computer Science Department showed how she combines programming with morning yoga. The Faculty of Computer Science team organised the 5000 Steps a Day challenge. BMI Department students found time between air alerts for a bike trip in central park. Lecturers also supported the flash mob, and Stories featured photos from cycling, eco-tourism and home workouts.

The post 海角社区 develops education for veterans: steps towards sustainable development first appeared on 海角社区.]]> On April 2, Igor Ruban, 海角社区 First Vice-Rector, with veterans to discuss the project of a veteran hub at the University.


The initiative 鈥淐reating an Ecosystem for Integration into a High-Tech Tomorrow鈥 is aimed at socialization, digital literacy training, retraining and obtaining a second higher education by our defenders.

In the project, the University acts as a platform for the inclusive development of society. The event was attended by representatives of the University, Head of the Veterans’ Space “” of the Kharkiv Regional Council Igor Shyshko, veterans, public activists and volunteers.

Education is the key to the stability of both an individual and society as a whole. 海角社区 has the expertise and everything necessary to help veterans adapt to civilian life. Veteran support programs will contribute to the inclusiveness and sustainable development of the region. During the meeting, the participants discussed key challenges in ensuring the rights of veterans, their families, and the families of fallen soldiers. The project to create an innovative veteran hub 鈥淩eboot鈥 at the University was presented to the audience.

鈥淥ur university is planning to launch an IT laboratory specializing in robotics, artificial intelligence, avionics, UAVs, and 3D printing. Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics serves as a key partner, responsible for developing the educational platform for IT-focused training,鈥 Igor Ruban emphasized.

A memorandum was signed between the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and the 鈥淪ide by Side Veterans’ Space鈥 with the prospect of further cooperation.

Thus, 海角社区 continues to implement the principles of sustainable development, combining academic initiatives with social responsibility.

The post Vasyl Levytskyi 鈥 KRAKEN legend and pride of 海角社区 first appeared on 海角社区.]]> Today, a memorial plaque in honor of Vasyl Levytskyi, a graduate of the University, commander of the first assault company of the legendary special forces, known to his comrades by the call sign 鈥淏usiness鈥, was unveiled on the building of 海角社区, on the side of Special Forces Kraken Street.

Vasyl Levytskyi was not just a professional in his field – he became a symbol of courage, strength of spirit and unwavering faith in Victory.

A graduate of 海角社区, he will forever be remembered by the university community as a true patriot who put the interests of his homeland above all else. His courage, determination and self-sacrifice inspired his comrades in the fiercest battles, and his love for Ukraine became the meaning of his life.

The hero died the death of the brave on July 24, 2023, during an assault on enemy positions near the village of Klishchiyivka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region. He was only 44 years old. Eternal memory and glory to Vasyl Levytskyi, a defender who gave his life for the freedom of Ukraine!

His feat will live on in the hearts of generations and serve as an example of boundless devotion to his country!

The post Restrictions on premium payments have been cancelled first appeared on 海角社区.]]> Under the leadership of the chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organisation Andrii Frolov and the Vice-Rector for Scientific Activities Yurii Romanenkov, a meeting of the conciliation committee was held to amend the Collective Agreement between the administration and the committee of the Primary Trade Union Organisation of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.
The meeting, which was held in a mixed format, considered the issue of amending the Regulations on rewarding employees of 海角社区 (Annex 2 to the Collective Agreement). According to the current version of the Regulations, the amount of reward cannot exceed 5 official salaries per month.
Given the importance of developing the University’s international cooperation, the administration has initiated the removal of restrictions on payments related to the University’s income from grant activities, international projects, etc.
The final decision will come into force after the Protocol of the meeting of the Conciliation Committee is signed.

The amounts of income from international activities are taken into account by the world rankings QS and THE, are included in the indicators taken into account in the formulaic distribution of funding for higher education institutions and, in accordance with , the indicator of scientific activity is determined depending on the amount of income to the special fund based on the results of scientific and scientific and technical work on international cooperation projects.

The post 海角社区 has won 3 Jean Monnet: modules of the EU Erasmus+ Program first appeared on 海角社区.]]> Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics has won three Jean Monnet projects under the Erasmus+ Program following the results of the European Commission’s selection in 2023. Every year, 海角社区 is increasingly introducing European experience and values into Ukrainian education.

The winners were the teams of 海角社区 teachers Oleksii Turuta, Department of IP (Andriy Kovalenko, Olesia Barkovska, Olena Turuta), Iryna Kolupaieva (Yurii Romashov, Lidiia Piddubna, Petro Lashyn, Andrii Tkachenko, Jelena Kurilova-Palisaitiene, Laszlo Vertesy) and Yurii Romashov (Daryna Nienova, Kateryna Stetsenko, Tetiana Tkachova).

The first project is called RI4business: European experience in research and innovation for business development. The overall goal of the project is to research and disseminate the European approach to research and innovation, product creation, and business development.

The second is Eco4Smart Ukraine-EU: Circular Economy solutions 4 Smart and Sustainable Cities. The overall goal of the project is to draw the attention of the Ukrainian community to the need for circular economy solutions for the development of smart cities and the sustainable future of each country in order to promote integration and cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union by implementing best practices and strategies for change and reconstruction.

The third is DEAPEPL: Developing a digital education action plan and ways to popularize it in neighboring countries to strengthen EU political leadership. The main objectives are aimed at promoting the Digital Education Action Plan among higher education stakeholders in the EU’s neighboring countries using Ukraine as an example and include the development of several specific means of promoting digital education.

On June 30, an official meeting was held with representatives of the Charitable Organization “Foundation for Educational Initiatives” and Huawei Ukraine, at which Huawei Ukraine handed over the latest network equipment: access points, switches, power adapters to provide network coverage to the University’s shelters.

According to the Wi-Fi in Shelters initiative launched by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ukrainian kindergartens, schools, vocational schools, colleges and universities receive routers and the necessary equipment to connect to high-speed Internet in shelters free of charge. Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, as the flagship of IT education, took part in the Wi-Fi in Shelters initiative and received equipment to provide network coverage for the University’s shelter. Huawei Ukraine provided the latest network equipment: access points, switches, power adapters.

The project was made possible thanks to Huawei Ukraine with the support of the Charitable Organization “Foundation for Educational Initiatives”. The Wi-Fi 6 network to be built will provide uninterrupted Internet access in the dormitories and the university. The students will be able to gain knowledge and keep in touch with their families during air raids, and the teachers will be able to conduct the educational process without interruption while they are in the shelters.

According to Maria Martuzayeva, representative of Huawei Ukraine, the arrangement of shelters for higher education institutions is an important step towards normalizing the educational process in the current situation.

Igor Ruban, Acting Rector of 海角社区, thanked Huawei Ukraine and the Charitable Organization “Foundation of Educational Initiatives” for the technical opportunity to modernize the dormitories and the university and expressed his desire to deepen cooperation with Huawei Ukraine in terms of non-formal education in the training of telecommunications specialists based on Huawei Ukraine’s facilities.

Assistant Rector for IT Vitalii Tkachov, as the coordinator of our University’s cooperation with Huawei Ukraine, invited representatives of Huawei Ukraine and the Charitable Organization “Foundation for Educational Initiatives” to visit our University again after the commissioning of the received network equipment.

After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the first priority was to evacuate the staff and students of the University. And this task was fulfilled to the maximum. The next difficulties arose with the calculation of salaries and scholarships. And the management coped with this issue as quickly as possible.
After a month of standstill, all the University systems were restored.
During the year, the certification of graduates was carried out, the Academic Council started working. And most importantly – the admission campaign was held on time.
In his report, Igor Ruban stressed that this year the Ministry of Education and Science has more than doubled the number of budget places. This allowed more students to study for free. In total, 1389 applicants entered the University for full-time education.
In the plans for 2023, the priority task is to conduct an admission campaign. Due to the hostilities on the territory of our country, there will be a significant shortage of applicants, that is why a lot of work is being done with foreign candidates for admission. Meetings with representatives of EU universities are planned for future fruitful cooperation.

According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 30.12.2022 “On approval of the list of projects of basic scientific research, applied scientific research and scientific-technical (experimental) developments of young scientists working (studying) in higher education institutions and scientific institutions belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, which have passed the competitive selection and funding of which will begin in 2023 at the expense of the State Budget of Ukraine” the scientific project聽“Development of algorithmic software for cyber-resistant infocommunication systems and critical infrastructure networks” authors Prof. Yeremenko O.S., Prof. Evdokimenko M.A., Prof. Odarchenko R.S., head of the Department of the National Aviation University (Kyiv), Associate Professor Kulia Yu.E., Associate Professor Shapovalova A.S. ranked 11th in the overall list with 92.67 points and will receive funding from the State Budget of Ukraine in 2023.

This project is the quintessence of the powerful work of the team of young scientists of the Department of Infocommunication Engineering named after V.V. Popovsky, which, in the conditions of military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, continues to conduct research and achieve significant results for the benefit of our country.

It’s possible within the framework of the ERASMUS+UNITE! project (2022-2026), stage WP8, An Open Innovation Community for the Green Transition, in the field of green transformation with the further perspective of establishing permanent and wider cooperation with Unite! network The selection of Ukrainian partners for Wroc艂aw Tech is based on cooperation with Erasmus+ projects for the period 2015-2023, mainly engineering activity profile. MainTasks

  • Green standards for Ukrainian universities in the field of education and research activities in the area of engineering and technical sciences (creation of a local version of green standards in the field of research and teaching activities taking into account the specifics of Ukrainian universities with compatibility with standards developed in the Unite! network, implementation of standards);
  • Green campus (development of a green campus model; implementation of standards and evaluation of the process of implementation of green standards in the area of research and teaching activities and campus functioning);
  • Summer school entitled GREEN TECHNOLOGIES FOR UKRAINE’S SOCIETY DEVELOPMENT (development and implementation of a 2-week course covering issues in disciplines that will be applied in the process of reconstruction and modernisation of industry and infrastructure of Ukraine for students of partneruniversities);
  • Unite! micro credentials system for Ukrainian partners (development of a system of Unite! micro credentials in a thematically related field of green transformation and making it available to students from Ukrainian HEIs).

After entering 海角社区, majoring in software engineering, Ivan Logvinov learned to program and decided to take part in competitions from ordinary Kharkiv and international, from the city cup to Google Hash Code. He began to achieve the first successes in the third year. Ivan considers the best achievement among individual competitions to be participation in the international competition SnackDown 2021, and among team competitions – participation in the second stage of ICPC-Ukraine-2022 as part of the team Kh海角社区_(-_-(-_-)-_-). At the latter, the team took 3rd place.

Thus, the Spanish University of Seville became one of the new international partners which signed with 海角社区 the Framework Agreement on Cooperation and an Inter-institutional Agreement on Learning Mobility.

The initiator of collaboration with the University of Seville became one of the leading departments of our university – the Department of Artificial Intelligence which has received several new grant projects over the past year due to the purposeful policy of international cooperation.

It is worth mentioning that the EU’s policy of comprehensive support for Ukraine in its military countering the Russian aggressor correlates with the processes to deepen Ukraine’s integration into the EU in particular into the European education area. One of the tools for the development of integration processes is the student mobility grant program Erasmus+ which after the beginning of the war increased the opportunities for Ukrainian students in order, first of all, to provide them with shelter and decent conditions for studying and harmonious development in EU partner institutions.

海角社区 being taken care of its students attracts new partners for the development of student mobility projects in order to provide more students with grant support to continue their studies in European universities simultaneously remaining students of 海角社区.
